Speech Language Pathologist - Travel Contract

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Hondo, TX and provide skilled care in a skilled nursing facility setting. You will evaluate, treat, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while supporting interdisciplinary teams and mentoring clinicians as needed.Minimum RequirementsMaster's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program.Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA. New graduates considered if CFY Level II experience documented rather than Level I observation.Active Texas state license required to start the assignment. Compact licensure accepted where applicable; candidate must meet state requirements.Minimum 1 year of SLP clinical experience required. Experience in Long Term Care (LTC) or inpatient/outpatient rehabilitation is required.Experience assessing and treating dysphagia, communication, and cognitive-communication disorders using standardized assessments and evidence-based interventions.Documentation competency in electronic medical records and accurate recording of treatment minutes per regulatory requirements.Ability to supervise and support CFY or student SLPs.Active ASHA membership and adherence to state practice acts and ASHA code of ethics preferred.Three years experience holding active CCS preferred.BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required.Assignment DetailsFacility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.Shift Name: Days.Shift Pattern: Monday through Friday, 8-hour days.
