Protocol Engineer

A company is looking for a Founding Protocol Engineer to lead the on-chain portion of a hybrid crypto options exchange. Key Responsibilities Own the trust and verification layer of the hybrid architecture Eliminate trust requirements by proving off-chain trades were executed fairly on-chain Design resilient systems for secure on-chain operations and user custody of funds Required Qualifications 5+ years of systems engineering experience in Rust, C++, or Go Deep experience with Solana program development or equivalent blockchain runtime Strong applied cryptography knowledge, including Merkle trees and digital signatures Understanding of DeFi security and common exploit vectors Experience with hybrid or L2 architectures involving off-chain execution and on-chain verification
