Commissioning Engineer - Data Center
Responsibilities:Conducted and documented comprehensive design reviews to ensure alignment with project requirementsReview contractor submittals for compliance with commissioning scope and system requirementsPerform on-site construction inspections and resolve non-compliance issuesDevelop and execute pre-functional and functional performance test scripts for commissioned systemsCreate commissioning plans and prepare clear, detailed commissioning reports for project stakeholdersUse various analytical tools and test equipment to validate performance metricsWork independently and manage workload with minimal supervisionRead and interpret construction documents, control system schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams.Attend and contribute to design review meetings throughout the project lifecycleDevelop commissioning cost estimates and assist with proposals and project interviewsLead and participate in design review meetings, project planning, and coordination of complex projectsIndependently manage full project execution while adapting to meet client expectationsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited university OR equivalent applicable industry experience (10 years)Ability to obtain commissioning authority certification within 2 years of initial employmentOSHA 10 safety training course Degreed engineers should have obtained their EIT and be on course to obtain PE Knowledge of complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems, including controls and automationKnowledge of Commissioning Processes, including planning, design review, functional performance testing, and final reportingProficient in reading and interpreting Construction Documents, specifications, wiring diagrams, and control system schematicsStrong communication, client management and organizational skillsProficiency with Commissioning Software and Tools, including data logging equipment and trend analysis platformsPhysical Requirements:Minimum physical requirements (reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals with disabilities)Travel 50-75% (to Muskogee)Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments (potential exposure to hot/cold temperatures, dirt, dust, loud noises, construction materials, plus mechanical & electrical-related hazards or physical risks)Must also be able to drive in various conditions to conduct workAbility to climb stairs, ladders, scaffolds and use of construction hoistsRegularly required to sit, use hands, and communicate verbally, stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, & lift/move up to 10 pounds
