In this role, you will serve as a full-time consultant supporting local and enterprise clients by solving complex business and technical challenges. This role is ideal for a quality engineering leader who is passionate about mentoring others, improving delivery practices, and applying modern testing approaches across manual, automated, and performance testing initiatives.This position is located in Nashville in a hybrid working environment.Responsibilities Lead a team of QA engineers across multiple testing initiativesMentor junior and mid-level QA engineers and support their professional growthEnsure quality delivery by analyzing business requirements and developing test plans and test casesPlan and execute manual, automated, and performance test scenarios for software and data implementationsParticipate in the full software development lifecycle from analysis and design through quality assurance, delivery, and supportCollaborate with team members to identify more efficient ways of working, including the use of AI to improve quality and delivery efficiencyEngage with business partners to analyze business processes and gather requirementsContribute to project estimation and planning activities with team membersDocument, communicate, and track defects, risks, and testing trends throughout the QA lifecycleStrengthen quality standards and testing practices across project teamsRequired qualifications 5+ years of experience in automated testingExperience leading a teamExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, team members, managers, and domain expertsDemonstrated ability to understand business needs, analyze requests, and recommend effective testing solutionsWillingness to work across all aspects of quality assurance, including manual, automated, and performance testingAbility to identify gaps and failure points in requirements, user stories, test cases, test plans, and test scriptsAbility to anticipate how users may misunderstand or deviate from intended application flowsExperience documenting, reporting, and communicating defects and quality trendsKnowledge of industry-standard automation tools and frameworks, with hands-on ability to implement and execute automated testsStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to detailExperience programming in a modern language such as Java, Python, or C#Solid understanding of database principles and the ability to write and interpret SQLBachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, MIS, CIS, or a related field, or significant experience as a QA Automation EngineerPreferred qualifications Hands-on experience designing and building test automation using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, SmartBear, Postman, SoapUI, and TestCompleteHands-on experience designing and building performance tests using tools such as JMeter and LoadRunnerExperience testing data, ETL, API, web application, serverless, mobile, and reporting solutionsExperience with CI/CD integrations and GitWorking knowledge of or hands-on experience testing cloud applications in AWS and AzureOther information CGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through April 30, 2026.Compensation: a reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $79,600.00 - $176,300.00.
