This role supports the Finance Department by performing a broad range of accounting, finance, and payroll functions. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable and receivable, cash receipts, payroll processing, audits, budgeting support, and financial reporting. The position also provides training and backup support to field accounting staff and collaborates closely with finance leadership, HR, and external partners to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial operations.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, cash receipts, bank deposits, and check allocationsMaintain accurate financial records, spreadsheets, and audit trailsSupport payroll processing, reconciliations, compliance, and reportingAssist with budgeting, audits, reviews, and financial reconciliationsMonitor cost allocations, credit card activity, and financial systems for accuracyTrain, support, and provide backup coverage for accounting clerks in the fieldCoordinate with Finance, HR, and external stakeholders on financial and payroll mattersPrepare reports, documentation, and credit applications as neededHandle confidential information with professionalism and discretionQualificationsAssociate degree in Business or Accounting and/or 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experienceProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel required)Working knowledge of accounting, reporting, and payroll/HRIS systemsStrong spreadsheet, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to meet deadlines, work independently, and interact effectively across all levels of the organization
