A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) is needed to support elementary school students in a classroom setting, with a focus on providing nursing care for young children. This full-semester contract position is based in Winder, GA, serving a Pre-K classroom where students are approximately 4 years old.Key Responsibilities:Provide daily nursing care and support for Pre-K students, including those with tracheostomies.Accompany students on the bus to and from their homes, ensuring their safety and health needs are met during transportation.Collaborate with educational staff to support student health plans and classroom activities.Monitor students' medical conditions and communicate any concerns promptly.Maintain accurate health records and follow all school health protocols.Desired Qualifications:Active LPN/LVN licensure.Comfort and experience with tracheostomy care is essential.Prior experience working with young children, particularly in educational or pediatric settings.Ability to manage health needs in a school environment with attention to detail and compassion.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and healthcare providers.Location and Duration:Position located in Winder, GA at an elementary school setting.Full-semester contract role.
