In this role, you will operate roll-off trucks and end dumps to load, transport, and deliver waste materials to designated disposal sites. The role involves handling both hazardous and non-hazardous waste streams, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with safety standards. Approximately 80% of driving is intrastate, with the remaining 20% being interstate.ResponsibilitiesPick up materials and goods in one location and transport to another location. Operate a roll-off truck and doubler roll-off trailerPerform routine safety inspections and preventative maintenancePlan the safest and most efficient routes of travelAdhere to delivery schedulesMaintain detailed driving log, including work periods, rest periods, and fuel expensesComply with all company policies and driving laws QualificationsCommercial Class A Driver’s License with Hazardous Materials and Tanker Endorsements (California).Valid Medical Certificate: Current and up to date.Experience: Minimum of 2 years as a Commercial Class A driver.HAZWOPER Certification: Must have a current 40-hour Operational Hazmat Technician training or 8-hour annual refresher (OSHA 1910.120).Motor Vehicle Record (MVR): Must maintain an acceptable driving record.Language Skills: Must be able to read, write, and speak English proficiently.Availability: Must have reliable transportation to the company terminal.Physical Requirements: Must pass a road test and meet all DOT physical and drug screening requirements.Drug Screening: Pass a pre-employment DOT drug test.
