Inside Sales RepresentativeLocation: Elgin, ILHours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMCompensation: $55,000 – $65,000 + monthly bonus potentialOverview:Our client, a leading metals processor and distributor, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support customer accounts, quotations, order processing, and sales activities. This role works closely with customers, sales leadership, operations, and quality teams to ensure accurate quoting, timely order entry, and excellent customer service.ResponsibilitiesRespond to customer inquiries and RFQsPrepare and process quotations based on customer requirementsCommunicate with customers to clarify specifications, pricing, and delivery requirementsReview purchase orders and resolve discrepanciesEnter and acknowledge customer orders in the ERP systemSupport customers using procurement and ordering portalsCoordinate with Sales, Operations, and Quality teams to meet customer expectationsInvestigate and resolve billing issues and customer claimsAssist with non-conforming product issues and customer concernsMaintain accurate customer and order recordsSupport continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancementsQualifications:High school diploma required; college coursework or degree preferredPrevious inside sales, customer service, account management, or sales support experienceExperience in metals, manufacturing, industrial distribution, or related industries preferredStrong communication, organization, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft OfficeExperience working with ERP systems preferredLean manufacturing knowledge is a plusAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentCompensation & Schedule:$55,000 – $65,000 base salaryMonthly bonus opportunityMonday – Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:30 PMThis is an excellent opportunity for someone with industrial or manufacturing sales support experience who enjoys working directly with customers and managing the full quote-to-order process.
