Job Title: Nurse Practitioner (NP)Department: Clinical / Medical PracticeReports To: Supervising PhysicianPosition SummaryThe Nurse Practitioner (NP) is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of medical conditions. Working collaboratively with the physician and clinical team, the NP delivers patient-centered care focused on prevention, wellness, and evidence-based treatment.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive patient evaluations including medical histories and physical examinationsDiagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditionsOrder, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory resultsDevelop and implement individualized treatment plansPrescribe medications and therapies in accordance with state and federal regulationsProvide patient education on disease prevention, treatment plans, and lifestyle modificationsPerform clinical procedures within scope of practiceDocument patient encounters accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure coordinated patient careMonitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as neededEnsure compliance with medical regulations, clinical protocols, and safety standardsClinical DutiesPreventive health screenings and annual wellness visitsChronic disease management (e.g., hypertension, diabetes, hormone imbalance)Diagnostic evaluation and treatment of patient symptomsReview and interpretation of laboratory and imaging resultsPatient counseling on nutrition, lifestyle, and health optimizationQualificationsMaster's or Doctorate degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited programCurrent Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practiceSkills and CompetenciesStrong clinical assessment and diagnostic skillsAbility to develop patient-centered treatment plansExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary teamStrong documentation and organizational skillsCommitment to evidence-based medicine and patient safetyWork EnvironmentOutpatient clinical settingDirect patient care and consultationCollaboration with physicians, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staffExperienceNo experience necessary; willingness to learnInterest in integrated health, preventive medicine, and wellness-focused careInterest in lifestyle-based approaches including nutrition, exercise, and patient educationInterest in functional, longevity, hormone therapy or wellness-based medical models
