Surface Mount Technology (SMT) Machine OperatorAbout the CompanySupport electronics manufacturing operations by operating SMT equipment to produce high-quality circuit board assemblies while maintaining safety, quality, and production efficiency standards.About the RoleThis position involves operating SMT equipment to manufacture high-quality circuit board assemblies while ensuring adherence to safety, quality, and production efficiency requirements.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate SMT equipment, including pick-and-place machines, stencil printers, and reflow ovensLoad feeders and components, and run programmed jobs according to work instructions and production schedulesConduct first-piece inspections and in-process quality checksMonitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to maintain quality and output levelsTroubleshoot machine issues, including jams and placement defectsVerify correct components, lot numbers, and configurations against BOM and build documentationMaintain accurate production records and complete required documentationPerform routine cleaning of equipment and basic preventive maintenanceCollaborate with Quality, Engineering, and Production teams to resolve issues efficientlyFollow all safety protocols, ESD requirements, and 5S workplace standardsMust be available for second shift: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 2:30 AMQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required1+ year of SMT equipment operation experience preferred (training may be provided for strong candidates)Required SkillsAbility to read and follow work instructions, job travelers, and basic assembly drawingsStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityBasic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilityAbility to work in a fast-paced production environmentAbility to stand for extended periods and lift 25–50 lbs as neededFamiliarity with ESD practices and electronics manufacturing standards is a plusMust be a US Person
