Project Manager

Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager with experience in structural steel to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation of exciting and many high-profile projects throughout North America!This is an office position (Monday - Friday) with some travel to job sites as necessary.Great team environment, excellent & affordable benefits, steady-work, and generous end-of-year bonus opportunity!!Responsibilities:Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementationAllocate resources for assigned projects and ensure they are used effectively and efficientlyProvide guidance to onsite personnel and subcontractorsInterface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, and clientsNegotiate with vendors to ensure reasonable order costsPromote safe and healthy work practices to mitigate risks on project sitesInvoice suppliers and authorize payments to subcontractors and vendorsCoordinate fabrication activities with shop superintendentsArrange and schedule shipmentsTravel to assigned job sites as necessaryQualifications:Previous project management experience within structural steel, 2-3 years preferred;Experience managing projects without compromising safety or quality;Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management; Engineering; Business or related field preferred;Familiarity with construction management software;Strong leadership and negotiation skills;Deadline and detail-oriented to meet schedule;Company DescriptionWith a history dating back to 1953, North Alabama Fabricating Company, Inc.
