Title : Regional Sales Manager-Medical, Consumer & PharmaceuticalJob Type : Full time Job Desccription Must-HavesSales Experience: 3+ years direct, capital equipment sales experience, ideally selling into medical or consumer goodsLead generation through trade shows, industry meetings, networking, and cold-callingExtensive technical knowledge with capital equipment machinery and functionality.Experience with long, complex sales cycle with numerous stakeholders, ideally in medical or consumable related processing or packaging Location: Must be within driving distance of a major airport in one of the following states: California, Washington, Oregon, or Arizona. Open to relocation.Nice-To-HavesStrong progression of career success, showing growth and advancementConsultative sales approach with experience negotiating and closing deals (this is NOT a good fit for pharmaceutical sales reps).Experience selling large, complex equipment with related quoting, production, and installation challengesExisting relationships with customers or decision makers in medical, consumable or pharmaceutical manufacturing, processing or packagingProven success building or growing a sales territory and surpassing quota, with rankings and awardsNot more than 2 jobs in the last 5 years, 3 in the last 7 yearsEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales revenue goalsProspect potential sales opportunities within MCP industries for assigned territory and cultivate customer relationships to generate sales revenueManage entire sales cycle from identifying prospects to closing dealsUtilizeresources such as sales intelligence tools, marketing tools, demonstration facilities, and internal subject matter experts to generate leads and advance the sales processPartner with internal subject matter experts to execute sales quotes and orders according to established procedures, providing all detailed information necessary to produce accurate quotes and ordersMaintain thorough, accurate, and up to date information in the CRM toolManage assigned MCP customer account relationships, including some key accounts, to ensure customer success and satisfactionServe as point-person for managing customer expectations as they relate to the capital equipment order processMonitor and report competitive activityParticipate in sales revenue goal and budget planning activitiesParticipate in trade shows, sales meetings, industry meetings, and other activities as directed by leadershipDemonstrate initiative and motivation for continuous learning of product portfolio, industry, and selling strategies and techniquesEducation/Experience:Bachelor's degree and at least four years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three years sales or related experience in one or more of the following: capital equipment, packaging solutions or materials, or other related industry products. Language Ability:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Must have strong presentation skills.Math Ability:Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.Reasoning Ability:Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.Computer Skills:To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook. Working knowledge of CRM systems required.
