Director - Pre-Sales

Whether partnering with IATA on industry-wide initiatives or enabling digital transformation to simplify airline processes, Accelya drives the airline industry forward and proudly puts control back in the hands of airlines so they can move further, faster.Job PurposeAs a Director - Pre-Sales, you will actively drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process, working in conjunction with the Sales and Business Development teams as the key technical advisor and solution advocate for our products, services and platform.Additionally you will be responsible for leading a team of pre-sales specialists to support the region's new sales and renewal targets.What will you do?Responsible for providing technical pre-sales support to the Sales organization in order to achieve sales quota targets.Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales consultants within the region for effective technical solutioning activity.Engage with C-level executives in target accounts to position Accelya´s technical value proposition.Create compelling client solutioning and winning technical proposals.Effectively communicate Accelya’s unique value proposition to target airlines.Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success teams to develop target account plans.Work closely with PMO, Product & Technology teams to create solutions aligned customer requirements.What do you need to know?A strong foundation in technical knowledge, gained from a background in development or engineering within the airline/travel industry preferably.Experience in Solution Engineering/Presales function leading RFI / RFP / RFQs processes.Experience taking products from inception to launch to ongoing enhancements.Effective verbal and written communication to simplify solutions and highlight customer benefits.Ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels within customer organizations, from C-level executives to end users.Self-motivated and ability to motivate others.
