Description:Superior Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing, Inc. is a regional provider of skilled commercial services specializing in retail, grocery, and convenience stores. We deliver commercial new construction, tenant improvements, and remodels, supported by 24/7 emergency response and comprehensive preventive maintenance programs. We are currently seeking Journeyman Plumbers to join our growing commercial plumbing team.The ideal candidate will have a background in commercial new construction or tenant improvement projects. This position works Sunday through Thursday, 3rd shift (10:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m.).ResponsibilitiesDemo and install plumbing piping, including PVC, ABS, cast iron (no-hub), and/or copperMount new fixtures according to manufacturer specifications and applicable municipal codesInstall and service grease traps, sump pumps, sanitary waste systems, water systems, and utilities within a commercial retail environmentPerform manual labor to clean and prepare jobsites, including (but not limited to) digging trenches, setting braces to support excavation sides, erecting scaffolding, and removing rubble, debris, and other waste materialsProperly use equipment such as jackhammers and saw cuttersRead and layout work from blueprints, plans, and isometric drawingsWork in accordance with current OSHA safety guidelines and company policiesDrive company issued vehicles in accordance with company policiesWillingness to take on additional duties as needed to support the departmentRequirements:Minimum of four years of recent and relevant commercial plumbing experienceValid driver license with no more than two points or driving restrictions on the driving recordAbility to pass a pre-employment drug testVerbal and written English literacy for the use of cell phone and mobile email communicationSuperior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is a service and construction company providing customer service throughout California and other states.
