Colorist

We are NappStar, a hair salon that specializes in Locs! We are looking for a Color Specialist to provide color services to our clients. Corlorists must be familiar with natural hair care, as their responsibilities may include consulting customers colors, after care, and maintanence. Ultimately, you will ensure all customers leave our salon satisfied with our services and feel happy with their new look. Training is provided and mandatory for this position to familiarize yourself with our standards. Description Pay 30% - 40% of service Price Responsibilities You must be able to work with a range of techniques, including permanent, semi-permanent, and highlighting. Welcome customers and identify their preferences by asking pointed questions Provide consultations and recommend color selections according to customers’ hair condition, tastes, lifestyle and occasions Wash, rinse and dry clients’ hair Apply hair treatment products, as needed (e.g. color protection creams and hydrating masks) Coming in to work camera ready to be showcased on Social Media Form bonds with loyal customers and remember their color preferences Ensure tidiness of beauty stations and sterilize tools, as needed Skills Color Formulation Excellent communication skills Physical stamina to work for long hours Flexibility to work in shifts Customer Service Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, Temporary
