Our scope encompasses galas, conferences, board room meetings, streaming, and everything in between for a litany of customers in academia, corporate and non-profit, and individuals looking for our creative and technical guidance.The Director of Event Technology will be the onsite leader at our properties with a focus on detailing and executing all audiovisual needs required at the venue.Venue Responsibilities:Attend all relevant internal venue meetingsAttend all site visits with venue staff and clientsAttend all client pre-con and post-event meetingsManage daily floor activities and greet all clients upon arrivalSales ResponsibilitiesWork with Hotel Sales on lead handoffsCommunicate with all prospective clientsBuild comprehensive proposals/estimates and secure client signaturesForecast revenueEnsure that billing is reviewed and approved by clientsReview month-end billingOperations ResponsibilitiesEnsure quality and efficacy of venue's Event Technology offeringsManage equipment and inventory quality controlSchedule and manage all required laborCommunicate event needs with required laborFacilitate Internet requirementsManage all equipment sourcingPerform set/operate/strike laborRequirements:1+ year(s) of Director of Event Technology or Sales experience in the events/hospitality industryDemonstrated sales results and success in managing multiple accountsProven computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office SuiteStrong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsBachelor’s degree is preferred.Working knowledge of audio-visual equipment in a live and hybrid event environmentEffective leadership skills and customer satisfaction focus.Job Type: Full-timePay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per yearWork Location: In personBenefits:401(k)Dental insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceHealth savings accountLife insurancePaid time offRelocation assistanceVision insurance
