Pay Range: $75.00 - $ 81.00 (USD) hourly on W2Work Type: Onsite at Foster City California 94404 Mon – Friday 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific timeOverview/ Responsibilities:Program Manager, * role requires travel between Clients locations (~10%)Our Autonomous vehicle manufacturing client is bringing its purpose-built robotaxis to (Their partner) platform in Las Vegas — and expanding to Los Angeles — making this one of the most visible and consequential partnerships in the autonomous vehicle industry. This Program Manager role sits at the center of that effort, owning the operational layer of the Our client ↔ and their partner integration end-to-end. This is a zero-to-one ops role. The SOPs don't fully exist yet. The workflows are being invented. The cross-functional dependencies span Rider Operations, Remote Operations, Mission Control, Engineering, and a counterpart team at Uber. You will be the connective tissue that turns a partnership announcement into a seamless rider experience. If you are energized by ambiguity, move fast without losing rigor, and know how to drive alignment across organizations that don't share a reporting structure — this role was built for you.What You'll Do Integration Program LeadershipOwn the operational program plan for the Our client and (Their Partner) integration, tracking workstreams across SOP development, tooling, support APIs, rider experience workflows, and dispatch logicServe as the primary FleetOps point of contact with Uber's program management team, coordinating across both organizations to close open actions, finalize joint SOPs, and hit integration milestonesLead a weekly Ops integration sync, maintaining a live action log and ensuring accountability across our client and Their Partner stakeholders SOP Development & OperationalizationBuild and maintain the full suite of Uber-specific operational SOPs, covering: async contact handling for Uber issues, Rider Support call routing to the correct agent, and fault response protocols unique to Uber ridesDefine and document how our clients Rider Support Team workflows apply to Their Partner riders — including how Remote Operations interacts with Uber's support infrastructure and when direct dispatch versus Uber credits is the right resolution pathDevelop the Mission Control workflows for adding and removing their partner-enabled vehicles from service, in coordination with relevant Operations and Engineering stakeholders Cross-Functional CoordinationWork closely with Rider Operations, Mission Control, TeleOps, and Fleet Response to identify workflow gaps introduced by the our clients Partner integration and drive resolutionPartner with Engineering and Product to complete technical discovery on Uber's support APIs and ensure operational requirements are translated into actionable product asksCoordinate with the async call automation team to define how Uber ride workflows interact with our clients automated contact systemsSurface risks and dependencies early; maintain a clear, current view of what is blocked, what is at risk, and what needs executive attention Readiness & LaunchDefine operational readiness criteria for Las Vegas launch and track progress against each requirementCoordinate tabletop exercises and dry runs with Ops, Engineering, and Uber counterparts ahead of go-liveBuild the post-launch operational review cadence, including KPIs for Uber ride quality, incident response time, and SOP compliance ExecutionMonitor daily execution of this partnership, ensuring we consistently perform to our SLAs Qualifications6+ years of experience in program management, operations, or a related role — with demonstrated ownership of cross-functional programs from inception through launchProven ability to write and operationalize SOPs in live, customer-facing environmentsExperience managing external partnerships or vendor relationships at the program levelStrong stakeholder communication skills — equally comfortable facilitating alignment with an Ops floor lead and presenting a risk summary to a VPOrganized under pressure: you use structured program management practices (action logs, RACI, milestone tracking) as a matter of habit, not just when things get messyComfortable operating in environments where the answer is "we haven't figured that out yet" — and skilled at moving ambiguity toward clarityBonus QualificationsExperience in rideshare, transportation, or autonomous vehicle operationsFamiliarity with how support escalation pipelines and async contact workflows operate at scaleExperience with Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent tools for cross-functional program trackingPrior experience coordinating between a technical Operations team and a third-party platform partner
