Entry Level Accountant

We are looking for an Entry Level Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations for a growing team. This role is well suited for someone who enjoys working with numbers, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to a fast-moving business environment. The ideal candidate brings a solid academic foundation in accounting or finance, along with experience handling core transactional accounting tasks.Responsibilities:• Process vendor invoices and assist with timely accounts payable activities while maintaining accurate supporting documentation.• Prepare customer billing records and help monitor accounts receivable balances to support consistent cash flow tracking.• Record journal entries and update accounting data to keep financial information complete and current.• Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure transactions are properly reflected in company records.• Reconcile general ledger accounts on a regular basis and resolve outstanding variances with appropriate follow-up.• Assist with month-end accounting activities by organizing records, reviewing transactions, and supporting financial close procedures.• Communicate with internal team members and external contacts to clarify payment issues, account questions, and documentation needs.• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.• Around 1 to 2 years of internship experience in an accounting or finance-focused role.• Working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and journal entry preparation.• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to identify issues and support practical resolutions.• Clear written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration across teams.• Careful attention to accuracy and organization when handling financial records and transactions.• Ability to manage priorities effectively in a deadline-driven, fast-paced setting.Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
