Frontend Engineer – Design Systems (Flutter / React)Location: RemoteType: B2B/Freelance ContractDuration: 6 months initial contractRemobi is partnering with a leading organisation to find a Frontend Engineer to develop and maintain a scalable component library used by product teams across multiple applications.The roleYou will play a central part in shaping how products are built and experienced across the organisation. Working with designers and product teams, you will create reusable, accessible UI components that bring consistency and speed to development.Key responsibilitiesDeveloping reusable UI components for use across multiple product platformsImplementing and maintaining design tokens to ensure visual consistencyEnsuring components meet accessibility standards and perform wellSupporting product teams as they integrate components into their applicationsDocumenting the component library so it is clear and easy to adoptWhat you will bring3 to 5 years' experience with modern frontend frameworks, specifically Flutter or ReactExperience with component-based architectureHands-on experience with Storybook or WidgetbookA solid understanding of accessibility standardsExperience building or contributing to design systems or UI librariesDesirableExperience with design-token systemsExperience working with monorepos or platform architectureWhy applyThis is an opportunity to own a foundational part of the product ecosystem, with your work used by multiple teams and directly influencing the quality and consistency of the end-user experience.If you are interested, please apply with your CV to find out more.
