About us The Vista is a part of Rick Erwin Dining Group. As a company, our goal is to create the most memorable dining experience in the Upstate. Our goal at The Vista is to create an upscale casual environment for our locals and regulars while delivering the same level of service and professionalism as our "white table cloth" restaurants. Responsibilities: - Provide excellent guest services by taking orders, serving food and beverages, and accommodating special requests - Ensure customer satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly customer service throughout the dining experience - Utilize Aloha POS system to accurately input and process orders - Promote sales by making menu recommendations and suggestive selling - Assist with food preparation and plating as needed - Handle food with care to maintain quality and safety standards - Clear tables and assist with bussing to maintain a clean and organized dining area - Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register accurately Qualifications: - Previous experience in a restaurant or customer service role is preferred - Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment - Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus - Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations - Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment - Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
