AEM DeveloperClient is seeking a skilled AEM Developer to help transform our digital properties into modern, engaging customer experiences. In this role, you will design, build, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions that power some of Client web platforms. You'll work alongside architects, UX/UI designers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver scalable, high-performing, and secure applications that support Client global digital ecosystem. This is an opportunity to build meaningful, high-impact software at scale while growing your expertise across the full AEM stack - from component and template development to cloud deployment.AEM Development -Develop and maintain AEM components, templates, workflows, and content fragments that support scalable, reusable digital experiencesBuild and support AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) implementations, including authoring, publishing, and dispatcher configurationsDevelop and maintain the Digital Asset Management (DAM) repository, including metadata schemas, folder structures, and asset governanceConfigure and maintain Blueprints, Live Copies, and Rollout Configurations to ensure content consistency across multi-site environmentsBuild responsive, high-performance front-end experiences using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or AngularDevelop backend services and integrations using Java, Sling, and OSGi, including REST/API integrations with third-party systemsWrite clean, scalable, well-tested code and participate actively in code reviewsPartner with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutionsParticipate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, backlog refinement) and manage work through tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceCreate and maintain clear technical documentation and specificationsTroubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on stability and continuous improvement.Troubleshoot indexing failures, data sync issues, and search relevance problems across environmentsCollaborate with architects to evaluate and evolve search architecture as content volume and site footprint growDevOps & Cloud -Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub ActionsDeploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPApply best practices for security, accessibility, and performance across all deliverablesSkills Required: Java, Apache Sling, JavaScript, React, Angular, HTML5, CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), Adobe SuiteSkills Preferred: ElasticsearchExperience Required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience5+ years of experience in AEM development, including components, templates, workflows, and DAMStrong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework (React or Angular)Experience with Java, Sling, and OSGi in an AEM contextFamiliarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and ConfluenceStrong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skillsExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teamsExperience Preferred:Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS)Experience with DevOps tools and processes, such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub ActionsExperience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCPFamiliarity with microservices or service-oriented architectureCuriosity and hands-on experience using AI tools to support development, testing, or content workflowsAdobe AEM certification(s)Experience with Elasticsearch and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)-based search models.Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or Agentic AI solutions for automated code reviews.Education Required: Bachelor's DegreeAdditional Information: HYBRID SCHEDULE: 4 days a week in the office in Dearborn, 1 day a week from home.
