Technical Lead

Position OverviewFJM Innovative Technologies, LLC is seeking a Technical Lead to support the implementation of a Community Development system for the City of Danville, VA. This role will be responsible for integrating software components, ensuring seamless data flow between systems, and supporting overall system functionality. The position is fully onsite and contingent upon contract award.Location: Danville, VA (Full-Time On-Site)Duration: Approximately 12 monthsEmployment Type: Contingent on Contract Award Anticipated Start Date: September 2026Salary: $110,000-$130,000 ResponsibilitiesLead system integration and technical implementation across all componentsOversee system architecture, environments, and configurationsEnsure seamless data flow between systems and third-party integrationsManage APIs, data exchange, and interoperabilitySupport deployments, performance, and system reliabilityLead troubleshooting, integration testing, and issue resolutionProvide technical leadership across a ~10-person teamRequired Skills5+ years in systems integration and/or systems engineeringExperience leading technical implementationsStrong understanding of APIs, system architecture, and data flowsExperience with enterprise or SaaS platformsAbility to work onsite full-time in Danville, VAPreferred SkillsExperience with government or municipal systemsExperience with Community Development, permitting, or inspection systemsExperience with GIS or third-party integrations​Why FJM?Innovative Environment: Be part of a dynamic workplace where creativity and innovation are not just encouraged but celebrated.
