Bus driver-primary location in Monmouth Qualification RequirementsMust hold a school bus driver’s license with proper endorsements issued by the State of Maine.Must have, or be able to obtain, current background check/fingerprinting (CHR-C) from the Department of Education.Must pass an annual physical examination and a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.Show proficiency in handling and maneuvering a school bus. Has the ability to drive in adverse conditions (wind, rain, snow, sleet).Has the ability to work with school staff, the public, students and passengers. EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (HiSET)Driving experience preferred.Knowledge of general transportation operations.
