Account Executive, Residential & Commercial

This role operates in a contractor environment and is a true individual contributor position with full ownership of lead generation, client meetings, and deal execution. The position is critical to revenue growth, requiring someone who can consistently self-generate opportunities, run in-home and onsite consultations, and close high-value projects. This is not a lead-fed sales role—it is built for a high-output closer who thrives on outbound activity and commission-driven performance.ResponsibilitiesProspect and generate new business through door knocking, referrals, networking, and outbound outreachRun in-home and onsite consultations for residential and small commercial solar projectsClose high-ticket solar deals by guiding customers through proposals, financing, and contract executionManage full sales pipeline from initial contact through signed agreementMaintain consistent deal flow without reliance on inbound or marketing-generated leadsCollaborate with internal estimating and operations teams to ensure smooth project handoffTrack activity, pipeline, and performance metrics within CRM systemsBuild relationships with homeowners and small business clients to drive repeat and referral businessRequirements3+ years of experience in high-ticket sales (solar, roofing, HVAC, home improvement, or similar)Proven track record of closing deals and generating personal pipelineExperience in both residential and client-facing sales environments requiredComfortable with outbound prospecting, including door-to-door and cold outreachAbility to run in-home or onsite sales presentations independentlyMust have direct closing experience (not support, estimator, or coordination roles)Solar sales experience preferred but not required if strong closing background is presentCandidates relying solely on inbound leads or appointment-setting teams will not be a fitBenefitsCompensation: Competitive salary based on experience.
