Creative Services/Weekend Philler Summer Intern

WPHL-TV/CW is looking for an energetic and dynamic intern for the Creative Services department to assist with our award winning weekend program, “Weekend Philler”, and our creative team. PHL17 will provide an opportunity to experience and learn the fundamentals of Creative Services and marketing, how it relates to other departments within a television station. Interns will work with the “Weekend Philler” team to produce our weekly recorded show airing Saturdays at 11:00pm and Sundays at 5pm. Students will our Creative Services and Sales team for local clients, community outreach projects with local non-profit organizations.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:Assist with writing and producing broadcast television spotsAssist with CTV spinoff material for our PHL17+ appAssist with digital marketing - website and social mediaAssist with gathering and researching story ideas for Weekend PhillerAssist with other CS projects as neededProduce a minimum of one spot to air on PHL17Shadow and observe how the Writer/Producers create spots and how those spots are put togetherRequirements & Skills:Can work in the US legally without any sponsorshipA collaborative worker with a willingness to learnKnowledge of Adobe Programs: Premiere, After Effects, PhotoshopKnowledge of DSLR and/or ENG camerasKnowledge of WordPress is a plusKnowledge of working with Social Media
