Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator (Night Shift)

Bullitt County Stone - Rogers Group Inc - Shepherdsville, KY Full-Time Night Shift - approximate shift times of 8:00 p.m. – 6 a.m. Wages starting at $23.00/hr. base pay plus an additional $4/hr. for shift differential for a total pay of $27/hr. for entry level candidates. Experienced candidates are preferred and will be eligible to start at higher pay. Pay will be determined based on experience and skill set. Bullitt County Stone is an underground limestone mine/quarry seeking an Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator for our operation located in Shepherdsville, KY . The successful candidate for this role will have an uncompromising emphasis on safety excellence, be a self-starter and will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to: Primarily operate a scaling machine in an underground environment on our stripping crew. Openness to operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, and general work around the quarry operation Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency Properly follow all company policies and OSHA / MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment Other duties as assigned by management Required Qualifications: Individual must be dedicated to operating safely at all times Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment Ability to compete pre-operation inspection paperwork Experience operating heavy equipment required Flexibility to work overtime and weekend when necessary Team player attitude Must pass pre-employment drug screening As a Rogers Group employee, you will have access to our competitive company perks, including: Group insurance options plus Health Savings Account with annual company contribution.
