Grade 3 Classroom Teacher

Green Meadow Elementary is searching for Teachers who bring joy, creativity, and heart to the classroom. We encourage new teachers, and Spanish or Portuguese speaking teachers, to apply. A two day New Teacher Orientation will take place on August 24th and 25th. The first day of school for teachers will be August 28th. Grade 3 Teacher Create a collaborative and nurturing environment for students to learn and take risksEstablish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate those objectives to studentsPlan well-structured lessons that have varied learning experiences to meet student needsGuide and counsel students with adjustment and/or academic problemsStrong interpersonal and collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively and respectfully with students, families, and staff.Meet with parents and guardians to discuss their children's progress, and to determine their priorities for their children and their resource needs.Collaborates well with colleagues of diverse backgrounds on pedagogical approaches, curricular alignment including Universally Designed Learning, and instructional strategiesEvaluate student progress which includes report cards and creating Student Success Team meeting notes when necessary The Teachers Union contract can be found at the below link.
