Slurry Seal Equipment OperatorPosition OverviewThe Slurry Seal Equipment Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining specializedequipment used in the application of slurry seal to road surfaces. This role requires knowledge of roadconstruction processes, strong mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety and qualityworkmanship.Key Responsibilities Operate and maintain slurry seal equipment, including slurry trucks and spreader boxes Ensure proper calibration for accurate and uniform application Prepare road surfaces by cleaning and removing debris Mix and apply slurry seal materials to required specifications Perform routine maintenance and minor equipment repairs Troubleshoot equipment issues and adjust as needed Follow all safety procedures and regulations Maintain records of materials, equipment, and project progressRequirements & Qualifications Previous experience operating slurry seal or similar equipment Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills Ability to work as part of a team High attention to detail and quality High school diploma or equivalent preferredWork Environment & Schedule Work performed outdoors in varying weather conditions, including extreme heat Physically demanding work requiring standing, walking, and lifting Overtime required based on project needs Weekend work required as needed Travel required within Arizona and out of town depending on project locationRequirementsMust be 21 years of age or olderMust possess a valid, clean driver’s licenseAble to work outdoors with the AZ heatTraveling is require up to 80% with in AZ / Including weekendsClean driver’s license (3–5 years, no violations)Benefits401(k), 401(k) matchingLife insuranceDental insuranceHealth insuranceHealth Savings AccountVision insuranceShort-term and long-term disabilityAccident coveragesCritical illnessPaid time offEmployee referral programPavement Preservation Group (Cactus Asphalt, Viking Construction, and American Pavement Preservation) is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
