You'll play a key role in integrating embedded software, networking infrastructure, and RF hardware to deliver high-performance communication systems.Working at the intersection of embedded systems, networking, and radio technologies, you'll help solve complex technical challenges while contributing to products operating in demanding real-world environments.This position would suit an engineer who enjoys hands-on development, system integration, and solving difficult technical problems across both software and hardware domains.Key Responsibilities• Develop and integrate embedded software for Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems• Implement and support Ethernet networking and Linux-based communication architectures• Integrate IP networking stacks within embedded environments• Work closely with RF and hardware engineering teams to support system-level integration• Support development and optimisation of RF System-on-Chip (SoC) platforms• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software, networking, and hardware integration issues• Contribute to system testing, validation, and performance optimisationEssential Skills and Experience• Strong embedded software development experience in C/C++ and Linux environments• Experience developing or integrating Software Defined Radio (SDR) systems• Knowledge of Ethernet networking and TCP/IP stack implementation• Experience working with embedded Linux platforms• Familiarity with RF System-on-Chip (SoC) technologies and architectures• Strong debugging and system integration skills across hardware and software boundaries• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environmentIf you're an embedded engineer with SDR experience and are available for your next contract, apply now or send your resume to jake.payne@newspacetechnical.com
