Hardware Design Engineer

Job Title: Hardware Design Engineer Duration: FULL TIME Location: Dallas, TX (ONSITE - 5 days onsite per week + 50% travel to Client locations as in when needed) Job Description: Reports To Head of Devices Overview: Client is seeking a hardware engineer to work with both internal R&D organization and external customers to facilitate the development, integration, and deployment of Client's advanced cash management solutions and connected business support systems. This person will play a crucial role in helping businesses and organizations navigate complex hardware-related challenges, make informed decisions, and successfully execute hardware projects. Their expertise and guidance contribute to the development of innovative and reliable hardware solutions. Tasks will include the ability to design and interact with complex devices combining embedded software (primarily JavaScript, C++, and C#) and custom-developed hardware mechanical and electronic control and transport systems as well as IoT connectivity and logging. Hardware design, embedded device diagnostics, log analysis, coordination with all internal development teams, customer deployment and integration teams, and sub-system suppliers will be some of the requirements. Able to work across the entire family of Client intelligent devices. Collaborate with clients to understand their hardware-related needs, objectives, and challenges. Assess existing hardware systems and provide recommendations for improvement. Assist clients in designing and architecting hardware solutions tailored to their requirements. Provide expertise in component selection, system integration, and overall hardware design. Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and compliance requirements. Effective communication skills for client interactions and project reporting. Commitment to staying updated on the latest hardware technologies and industry trends. Extensive professional experience in hardware engineering, including hardware design, development, and testing. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex hardware-related issues. Knowledge of hardware design tools and software Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams, enabling them to maintain and troubleshoot hardware systems independently. Create detailed technical documentation, reports, and presentations for clients. Communicate project progress, challenges, and recommendations effectively. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Qualifications, Experience, Skills, Competencies: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Technical skill requirements include knowledge of hardware design, software and hardware analysis tools, general computer, and communication tools, and well as the ability to work closely with global engineering design teams. Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology development and deployment is desired.
