Client Care Supervisor

Client Care Supervisor – Veterinary HospitalWe are seeking an experienced Client Care Supervisor to lead our Client Care & Coordinator Team. This role oversees daily front desk operations, supports client communication, and ensures an exceptional experience for both clients and patients. If you thrive in a fast-paced veterinary environment and enjoy mentoring a team, we'd love to hear from you!Schedule:Five 8-hour shifts or four 10-hour shiftsCompensation:$26-$30 Depending on ExperienceResponsibilities:Supervise the Client Care team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance managementCommunicate confidently using practical veterinary knowledge to support scheduling, triage, and client instructionsMaintain department workflows and quality standardsCreate and manage schedules to ensure full coverage at all timesFacilitate communication between Client Care and all hospital departmentsAudit patient check-in records for accuracy and quality controlResolve high-level client or doctor concerns after initial team attemptsLead team meetings and follow up on action itemsMotivate and support staff to deliver excellent serviceParticipate as part of the hospital leadership team and contribute to process improvementsManage the department's approved budgetRequirements:High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's in business, vet tech, or related field preferred)2+ years of supervisory experience3+ years in a general practice veterinary setting or 1+ year in specialty/referral/emergencyStrong customer service, communication, and leadership skillsComfortable with technology, phone systems, and software (EzyVet experience is a plus)Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitaskWorking knowledge of veterinary terminologyPhysical Requirements:Reliable attendanceAbility to lift up to 40 lbsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and reach during an 8+ hour shiftAbility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as neededFlexibility with schedule to support front desk coverageVisual/auditory ability to communicate effectivelyAbility to maintain a clean hospital environment, including occasional waste cleanupBenefits:3 weeks paid time offPaid sick leave (NY State compliant)Medical, dental, and vision insuranceShort- & long-term disabilityLife insurance401(k) with employer matchAnnual uniform allowance75% employee pet discountHoliday double payIf you're ready to lead a compassionate, client-focused team in a dynamic veterinary environment, we encourage you to apply!
