Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Clinic Location: Duluth, GA 30096 Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extension) Shift: 07:00 PM – 07:30 AM (Weekend and holiday coverage required) Float Requirement: Must be willing to float to Southwood and Townpark locations Job Description: The Advanced Care Center operates as an urgent care facility with higher patient acuity and includes a Critical Decision Unit for short-term observation, including overnight monitoring when necessary. The Registered Nurse will deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process to assess patient health status, identify nursing diagnoses, establish care goals, and implement and evaluate individualized care plans. Key Responsibilities: · Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor patient conditions in a high-acuity urgent care environment. · Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and clinical findings. · Provide observation and ongoing care for patients requiring short-term monitoring in the Critical Decision Unit. · Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient care and clinical decision-making. · Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols. · Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). · Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Requirements: · Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia or a compact state license. · Minimum 2 years of RN experience, preferably in Urgent Care, Emergency Department, or Critical Care settings. · BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred. · Experience with high-acuity patients, rapid assessments, and critical decision-making in a fast-paced clinical environment. · Ability to float between locations (Southwood and Townpark) as required.
