Join Our Team.About the roleThis fixed-site Wind Technician II role requires proven, hands-on field experience performing maintenance, troubleshooting, and corrective repairs on wind turbines. You will work daily with mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and PLC-driven systems on operational units.What You'll DoCollaborate with peers, site leads, and clients to ensure project successAssist with scheduled, unscheduled maintenance, and troubleshooting activities.Support other technicians with troubleshooting tasks when needed.Maintain safety training and Qualified Electrical Worker requirements as a technicianDocument all service activity and parts consumptions using company's CMMS digital reporting systems.Record work performed and maintain compliance with safety standards (OSHA, NFPA)Participate in safety briefings and enforce LOTO procedures.Communicate issues and solutions to leadership.Interface and communicate effectively with customers.Adheres to, supports, and enforces all company policiesWork with Inventory Control to make sure projects are supplied properly with parts and consumablesAble to participate and respond in an On-Call 24/7/365 rotation scheduleLearn the fundamentals of mechanics, electricity, electronics, PLC's, and hydraulics to solve mechanical and electrical problemsLearn to interface with equipment PLC's to program, analyze performance and troubleshoot problemsEnjoy the challenges associated with troubleshooting, maintaining, and problem solving on renewable energy equipmentQualifications/RequirementsVESTAS V47 Wind Turbine experience preferred.2+ years of wind maintenance, mechanical, and technical experience.High school diploma or equivalent.Valid driver's license.Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.Comfortable working at heights (exceeding 300 feet), in confined spaces, and in outdoor environments.Ability to work in varying weather conditions.Willingness to travel from time to time for training or to assist on other projects.Commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA standards.BenefitsMedicalDentalVisionADSTD401K company matchPTOWhy Join Us?
