This is a temporary position supporting high-visibility photography and visual media operations for the United States Senate. This role supports high-volume photography, print fulfillment, digital asset management, and visual media operations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Required Qualifications U.S. CitizenDemonstrated experience as a professional photographer, imaging technician, or visual information specialist supporting large-scale events or high-volume media operationsProficiency with Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, and other industry-standard photo/video editing and print-preparation toolsExperience managing large volumes of digital imagery and print ordersStrong understanding of metadata tagging, print labeling, and archival processesAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong organizational skills and high attention to detailAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environmentAbility to support occasional extended hours and weekend coveragePrimary Responsibilities Perform professional photography and short-form video assignments for the Senate, including hearings, press conferences, and office visits as part of the Daily Imagery Workflow (DIW)Support the Senate Photographic Services lab by executing high-volume photo print fulfillment operations. Duties include managing print orders using established workflow systems, preparing and quality-checking prints for delivery, maintaining metadata and order tracking accuracy, assisting with customer communication, and ensuring timely handoffs of completed print jobs to Senate officesAssist in collecting, organizing, editing, and archiving photographs and video, ensuring all metadata (photographer, caption/description, and other relevant fields) is consistently appliedSupport time-sensitive imagery edits and uploads for Senate Digital Asset Management (DAM) systemsDemonstrated experience as a professional photographer or imaging technician supporting large-scale events or high-volume visual media workflowsProficiency with Adobe Premiere, Lightroom, and other industry-standard imagery editing and print-preparation toolsAbility to manage and organize large volumes of digital imagery and/or print orders, adhering to clearly defined workflows and deadlinesExperience in metadata tagging, print labeling, and archival processes to ensure consistency and traceabilityAbility to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with minimal supervision and high attention to detail;DeliverablesDaily Imagery Files Edited and post-processed photographs and short-form videoHigh-resolution deliverables compliant with Senate Photographic Services standardsAccurate metadata including: AttributionCaptions/descriptionsRequired archival fieldsDaily Print Order Fulfillment Completed and quality-checked photographic prints prepared according to Senate standardsDeliverables include: Accurate print selectionsVerified print sizes, quantities, and finishesProper metadata tagging and labelingOrder status tracking updatesTimely delivery to designated Senate offices or pickup pointsPowered by JazzHR
