Inventory Assistant

Matech Consulting & Outsourcing LLC is looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Inventory Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping accurate inventory records, managing stock levels, and ensuring the inventory system is regularly updated. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the efficiency of our supply chain and ensuring timely, accurate deliveries to our clients. Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Oversee stock levels, ensuring the accuracy and timely updating of the inventory system. Data Entry: Input inventory data, including information on receiving, stocking, and shipping, into the inventory management system with precision. Stock Audits: Conduct periodic audits to identify any discrepancies between physical counts and system records. Reordering: Assist in creating and processing purchase orders to restock inventory when necessary. Stock Organization: Keep the storage areas well-organized, ensuring all items are properly labeled and stored. Reporting: Prepare and distribute inventory reports to management, highlighting discrepancies or issues that require attention. Team Collaboration: Work closely with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to maintain smooth inventory operations. Compliance: Ensure that all inventory processes adhere to company policies and procedures. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate’s degree in a related field is preferred. Experience: Previous experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field is highly preferred. Skills: Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail. Proficiency with inventory management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Effective communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration. Basic math skills for accurate counting and inventory calculations.
