As the VPDS, you will play a crucial role in maximizing anatomical donation opportunities and ensuring Donor Services run seamlessly in harmony with our mission and values.This is an incredible opportunity for individuals with experience in eye/tissue/organ banking, who are passionate about the value of donation. If you have strong business acumen, leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you!Essential Functions Include, But Are Not Limited ToLead and manage a team of dedicated professionals, including the Donor Referral Line Manager, Recovery Manager, and Eligibility Department Lead.Ensure top-tier service for our partner recovery agencies by meeting with key contacts, addressing concerns, tracking success indicators, and analyzing metrics.Oversee staffing and employee relations for Recovery, Eligibility and DRL to maintain smooth operations.Collaborate with Partner Relations to build and nurture relationships with hospital contacts, funeral directors, hospice, and Medical Examiners.Align department goals and strategies with VisionGift’s long-term plans.Promote and embody VisionGift’s core values in every aspect of your work.Take on additional exciting projects and duties as assigned.RequirementsWhat We're Looking For:Minimum of three years of experience in the field of anatomical donation with managerial experience, or five years of management experience in a regulated healthcare setting.Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare or scientific field preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.Proven leadership and managerial experience.Experience in an FDA or similarly regulated environment.Strong communication skills and a knack for developing staff and fostering a positive culture.Ability to navigate conflict, align opposing viewpoints, and act decisively in ambiguous situations.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office software.
