The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, designing, and controlling the activities of projects to best accomplish the successful completion while operating within established schedules, budgets, and Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) policy constraints. Typical projects will entail Structural Engineering with an emphasis on commercial and residential construction.Oversee and manage project proposal development through planning, schematic design, design develop, construction documents, bidding, and construction.Supervising, coordinating, and reviewing work of engineers, technicians, and designers. Managing projects, overseeing, and delegating tasks, and engaging in design of projects.Engineer building design projects from concept to substantial completion using steel, wood, and concretePromotes new business for the total company and for own area of expertise.Preparing agreements including scope, schedule, work plan, fees and monitors financial performance of projects.Cultivating personal business relationships and seeking opportunities for cross-selling to enhance and expand existing client relationships during and after projectsWhat You Will Need To SucceedBS in Civil Engineering preferred.Other disciplines to be considered with experienceAdvanced degree or experience in project management desirable.Minimum of 10 years of related industry experience is preferred.Registration (or ability to attain) as a Professional Engineer in ME is preferred.Sound mathematical skills are required.Working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and Revit is preferred.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Leadership acumen is essential.Valid driver's license & reliable transportation required.A criminal background check and driving record check will be conducted.Haley Ward is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
