Remote work possibility for highly qualified candidates.This role focuses on advancing cybersecurity across Operational Technology (OT) environments, including industrial control systems and factory networks supporting critical manufacturing operations. You will design and drive secure, scalable OT architectures that prioritize availability while protecting against threats such as ransomware. This position partners closely with engineering, IT, and factory teams to ensure secure deployment, compliance, and continuous improvement of OT systems.You’ll Make a Difference ByDesigning and implementing OT security architecture across industrial control systems (ICS), SCADA environments, and factory networksDriving alignment to cybersecurity standards and frameworks including Purdue Model and IEC 62443 to ensure secure and compliant system designAssessing and mitigating risk through threat modeling, vulnerability assessments, and security architecture reviews of OT environmentsPartnering with IT, engineering, and manufacturing teams to securely integrate IT/OT systems and support operational continuityGoverning vendor and system deployments to ensure secure design, implementation, and adherence to security requirementsSupporting cybersecurity incident preparedness and response for OT environments, including ransomware risks impacting operationsEnabling efficiency and resilience within factory systems while maintaining high availability and production continuityYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:Basic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field7+ years of experience in OT security, industrial cybersecurity, ICS, or SCADA environments5+ years of experience with the following:Cybersecurity standards and frameworks (e.g., IEC 62443, Purdue Model, or similar)Risk management, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment practicesNetwork security, segmentation, and secure architecture design principlesCollaboration across IT, engineering, or operational environmentsSupporting secure system deployments and compliance within technical environments30% travel requiredLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.Preferred QualificationsExperience designing security architecture for OT systems within manufacturing or critical infrastructure environmentsKnowledge of industrial protocols, OT networks, and secure integration of IT and OT systemsExperience supporting large-scale or multi-site industrial or factory environmentsRelevant cybersecurity certifications or industry-recognized OT security credentialsYou’ll Benefit FromSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
