Medical Assistant

Medical Assistant Needed in South OC (Laguna Hills) Seeking a Medical Assistant to join our General/Vascular Surgery team. We are looking for an ambitious self-starter to join our team. You will be crosstrained to the front and back office. You will contribute to the strength of our team by providing excellent and efficient patient care experiences through a variety of patient-related tasks as a medical assistant. This is a fast paced environment so please be able to work well under pressure. Customer service skills and excellent phone, verbal, and written communication are a priority. Back Office Medical Assistant Duties/Skills include rooming patients, performing patient Intake, taking vitals and medical history and answer patient questions. Candidates must understand sterile technique and able to prepare room/tray for office procedures for the physicians. You should be knowledgeable about medical terminology and calling in prescription. Experience: Must be a graduate of an accredited medical assistant program with an MA certificate. Must have at least one year of medical office experience. and previous EMR experience. Bilingual applicants encouraged.
