Registered Nurse (RN) | Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,584 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 6/1/2026 About the Position Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 12 hours (07:00 - 19:30) Experience: 2 years in Emergency Department License: CA RN Licensure Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Willingness to float to Medical/Surgical/Telemetry when not utilized in the Emergency Department - Experience in emergency medicine with a focus on evidence-based practice - Proficiency in clinical procedures such as IV management, Foley catheter insertion, and dressing changes - Ability to effectively educate patients and families - Strong documentation skills Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse who demonstrates a solid understanding of evidence-based practice. Knowledge of pathophysiology, pharmacological implications, and regulatory issues is essential. The nurse will document assessments and perform clinical procedures accurately and thoroughly. Effective patient and family education is a must. Maintaining standards in tele-monitoring, IV administration, ventilation management, and safe medication administration is expected. Recognizing changes in patient conditions is key to this role. The nurse will model safety behaviors and report errors and near misses as part of safety protocols. Acting as a patient advocate and working independently and as part of a team is crucial. The ability to accept constructive feedback and maintain a professional appearance is required. Completing tasks within specified timeframes and accepting assigned duties is expected. Taking initiative and conducting necessary follow-up is part of the responsibility. Weekend rotation is required, with no on-call duty. This role involves caring for a diverse patient demographic, including neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
