Patch Management Specialist- Secret

We are hiring a Patch Management Specialist – Secret Clearance Required (DoD Support) to support secure enterprise environments for Department of Defense programs.This role supports the full patch management lifecycle for desktops, laptops, and remote endpoints to maintain secure, compliant, and mission ready systems across enterprise environments.Key Responsibilities:• Identify, test, and deploy operating system and application patches across enterprise endpoints• Support routine and emergency patch cycles, including testing, approvals, maintenance planning, and rollback procedures• Monitor vulnerability and patch compliance dashboards and assist with remediation efforts• Troubleshoot patch deployment issues and escalate risks impacting critical systems• Support automated patch deployment workflows and validate successful installations• Maintain documentation for patch baselines, deployment procedures, SOPs, and audit support• Partner with cybersecurity and vulnerability management teams to align patching activities with current security threats and compliance requirementsRequired Qualifications:• Active Secret Security Clearance required• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience• 1 to 3 years of experience in systems administration, IT support, cybersecurity, or endpoint management• Familiarity with patch management tools such as WSUS, SCCM, or Microsoft Configuration Manager• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and organizational skillsPreferred Qualifications:• Experience supporting DoD or federal government environments• Understanding of vulnerability management and enterprise security best practices• Relevant entry level IT or cybersecurity certifications• Exposure to enterprise endpoint management and automated patching solutions
