CNC Programmer

CNC Programmer Sr. (Aerospace Components/Systems) *Job Type:* Full-time *Overview* We are seeking an experienced *Senior CNC Programmer* to support machining operations for precision aerospace components. This role is responsible for developing, optimizing, and supporting CNC programs for mills (lathe exp. is good but milling is needed + some 5-axis exp.), with a strong focus on quality, efficiency, and process reliability. *Key Responsibilities* * Create, modify, and optimize CNC programs using CAM software (Esprit preferred) * Develop complete machining processes including setup, fixturing, tooling, and operation sequencing * Select appropriate cutting tools and determine speeds/feeds for various materials * Generate setup sheets, tool lists, and clear machining instructions * Support first article runs and troubleshoot issues on the shop floor * Collaborate with operators and cross-functional teams to ensure production success * Identify and implement process improvements to reduce cycle time and improve quality * Analyze manufacturing issues and recommend effective solutions *Qualifications* * 4+ years of CNC programming experience in a manufacturing environment * Proficiency in CNC programming for mills and/or lathes * Experience with CAM software (Esprit strongly preferred) * Ability to manually edit or write CNC programs (G-code) * Strong understanding of tooling, machining processes, and cutting parameters * Experience developing setups, fixturing, and machining strategies * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications * Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently *Preferred Experience* * Aerospace or high-precision manufacturing environment * Experience supporting first article inspections and production ramp-up * Familiarity with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement practices *Compensation & Benefits* * Pay range: $35 – $50 per hour * Annual bonus/incentive eligibility * Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) * 401(k) with company match * Paid time off and holidays * Career development and tuition assistance *Additional Requirements* * Must be eligible to work in the U.S. (due to export control regulations) * Ability to work both at a workstation and on the shop floor as needed Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour Work Location: In person
