Crew Leader 3rd ShiftLeaders are in charge of overseeing the operations of their lines or areas. Leaders are expected to lead by example and have a great and productive relationship with their crew. Also, leaders need to understand and be in sync with the management's vision to create a successful team.Responsibilities and DutiesMust have good communication skills with some crew leader experienceBasic math skillsMust be flexible with work scheduleComputer skills are a plus. Excel & MS WordBilingual is a plusThe crew leaders manage their lines and the employees on that line, ensuring breaks are taken on time.Ability to stand for up to 8 hours a day.Constantly communicates and receives verbal communication with other coworkers in a fast-paced environment.Moving on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit. Typically bends, lifts, carries, reaches/extends arms and hands above shoulder height occasionally, or moves in a constantly changing environment.Oversee new worker training and ongoing training for all members of the crewMust be an active Taylor Farms employee or in the rollover processMust adhere to all HACCP and Food Safety policies, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)Must comply with all policies regarding Employee Safety and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)Physical RequirementsAbility to work at least 40 hours per week, including weekends and holidays. Regular attendance and punctuality are essential to carrying out the duties of this position.Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.Ability to work doing physical work in cold temperatures, occasionally on wet floors. Moving and pushing empty and loaded pallets with a pallet jack.Perform other duties as needed or directed by the supervisor or manager.
