ITS Operations Center Technician II (Night shift)

We are also capable of offering project-based work.POSITION SUMMARY:We are seeking an ITS Operations Support Tech (Level II) professional for nigh shift to work within our healthcare client's new ITS Operations Center supporting NOC/Data Center/Managed Services Support operations handling complex triage, advanced smart-hands, carrier/vendor lifecycle management to SLA closure, and mentoring junior staff. Operates within rotating 12-hour shifts to sustain compliance and resiliency. This role is a long-term, Contract-to-Hire role with the goal of converting full-time with our client.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Monitoring & Vendor ManagementLead carrier ticket lifecycle: investigate, escalate per playbooks, document follow-ups every hour, drive to resolutionExecute advanced smart-hands: patching, optics swaps, console access, demarc testing under engineer directionValidate CI accuracy and remediation steps; ensure proper outage communicationsData Center Operations & ComplianceOwn monthly compliance record submission; audit SOP/runbook adherence; recommend improvementsSupport after-hours change window monitoring; act as on-site observer and log outcomesIncident SupportSupport major incident bridges: capture timeline, ensure ticket hygiene, facilitate warm handoffsProvide coaching to Technician I on troubleshooting and documentation standardsQUALIFICATION, EDUCATION, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS:Qualifications:2 to 5 years of IT support experience working in a corporate IT data center, NOC, and/or help desk environmentOnsite role; 12-hour Panama rotation including nights/weekends/holidaysEducation:Vocational/Associate degree in IT or related (Bachelor's preferred)Knowledge:Client/EMS, UPS/ATS familiarityNetwork troubleshooting and vendor coordinationService management tooling (ServiceNow or equivalent)Skills:Strong troubleshooting and disciplined documentationEffective vendor coordinationAbility to coach junior techniciansCalm under pressureWORK ENVIRONMENT AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:Onsite data center environment with frequent standing/walking, lifting up to 40 lbs, PPE adherence, and exposure to environmental noise; safe work practices required.
