We are currently looking for a full-time Craftsman (Electrician) to join our Matthews, NC team.When your actions lead to success.Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipmentTroubleshoot and solve work-related problems.Able to read and understand electrical and mechanical blueprintsKnowledge using CMMS SoftwareImplement the preventive maintenance program for production machinery and equipment as directed by the ManagerPerforming routine preventive maintenanceMaintaining the building equipmentBasic knowledge of calibrationsAssist in project work as assigned.Understands and applies applicable quality system procedures.References quality system documentation as appropriate.Fix potential safety hazards to avoid injuriesFollows safety practices and maintains housekeeping standards.When your expertise drives us.Able to read and write.Able to perform basic math using a calculator.Able to use a computer to retrieve emails and other electronic information.Knowledge and use of electronic systems such as Prism, Wonderware, SharePoint, and email.Able to perform mechanical measurementsFollows instructions.Good organizational skills.Able to lift 50 poundsAble to use a ladderProlonged periods standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders or scaffolding. Able to crawl under space and confine spaceGood hand/eye coordination.Good housekeeping skills are a must.Excellent time management skillsSelf-motivator; ability to work with limited supervision.Excellent communication skills.Must be able to work in a team environment Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a craftsman, electromechanics, or maintenance technician experienceBoard certification or equivalent experience in one or more of the following fields: electrical wiring, welding, HVAC maintenance, pipe fitting, or hydraulics.Excellent skill in all major areas of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.Excellent skill in the repair of production equipment mechanical problemsExcellent skill in milling of metals, servicing of boilers, mechanical troubleshooting and/or electrical troubleshooting, compressed air equipment, and painting.Thorough understanding of OSHA and EPA regulations as they pertain to plant operation and maintenanceGood experience with plant safety and fire protection systems.Good experience using CMMS SoftwareBenefitsWe offer a comprehensive and flexible benefits package designed to support your well-being and help you thrive—at work and at home.
