CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to nurses and medical staff in various healthcare settings, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Provide compassionate care to patients in hospice, acute care, ICU, memory care, at home and outpatient settings
- Assist in patient mobility and transfers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of patient rooms
- Support patients with behavioral health needs
- Handle medical records and documentation efficiently
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver high-quality patient care
Requirements
- Previous experience or knowledge in home health, hospice care, Level II Trauma Center, anatomy, behavioral health, acute care, ICU, memory care, and outpatient settings is beneficial
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification as a Nursing Assistant or completion of a Nursing Assistant training program
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract, PRN, Travel nursing
Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
