We are unable to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions for this position.Job SummaryWe are seeking a Cloud Architect (Multi-Cloud) to design strategies, reference architectures, and platform capabilities that span multiple cloud providers — AWS, Azure, GCP, and selectively OCI — for enterprises operating on more than one cloud by deliberate choice. The role focuses on portability, abstraction layers, federated identity, cross-cloud networking, and platform offerings that hide cloud-specific complexity from product teams. The ideal candidate has architected meaningful multi-cloud capabilities, understands the trade-offs between portability and cloud-native depth, and brings strong opinions grounded in production experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine multi-cloud strategy, target-state architecture, and adoption guardrails across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI as relevantDesign federated identity, SSO, and cross-cloud authorization patterns that let workloads and engineers move between providers without compromising on least-privilege, auditability, or operational simplicityArchitect cross-cloud networking including transit hubs, private connectivity, and zero-trust patternsEstablish reusable infrastructure-as-code patterns that abstract cloud-specific implementations where appropriateDefine container, Kubernetes, and serverless strategies that work consistently across providersDesign data architecture strategies for cross-cloud data movement, residency, and analyticsDrive multi-cloud observability, security monitoring, and unified policy enforcement, designing approaches that work consistently across providers and avoid the complexity of fragmented per-cloud tooling stacksEstablish FinOps practices that operate consistently across multiple cloud providersLead disaster recovery and business continuity strategies that span cloudsPartner with security architects on multi-cloud security models, KMS strategies, and key managementProvide guidance to engineering teams on when to use cloud-agnostic versus cloud-native patternsProduce high-quality architecture artifacts — context diagrams, sequence diagrams, decision records, and reference designs — that capture key technical decisions clearly enough to be understood months or years laterEngage with cloud providers and partners to evaluate roadmap alignmentStay current with multi-cloud platform and tooling developments, regularly review release notes and community discussions, and translate noteworthy advances into concrete recommendations and adoption proposals for the teamRequired QualificationsBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related fieldEight or more years of experience in cloud architecture rolesHands-on architecture experience across at least two major cloud providersDeep understanding of cloud networking, identity, and security across multiple providersStrong experience with infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code across cloudsExperience designing federated identity and SSO across cloud platformsSolid understanding of Kubernetes, container platforms, and managed cloud servicesExcellent communication and stakeholder management skillsMultiple cloud certifications across providersTrack record of leading multi-cloud architecture initiativesPreferred QualificationsExperience with abstraction platforms (Crossplane, Pulumi, Terraform CDK)Familiarity with cloud-agnostic observability platformsExperience driving large-scale cloud-to-cloud migrationsExposure to regulated industries with multi-cloud mandatesPublic talks or writing on multi-cloud architectureHow to ApplyWould you like to know more about this opportunity?
