Accounting Specialist
The Accounting Specialist is responsible for accounting activities that support the Accounting and Credit Management Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Provide backup support for payroll operations, assisting with the accurate and timely processing of weekly and bi-weekly payroll. Responsibilities may include entering commissions, reconciling payroll reports, and supporting the review and resolution of payroll discrepancies or employee inquiries, as needed. Serve as backup support for accounts payable and invoice processing activities, including reviewing invoices for completeness, assisting with invoice entry and routing, and coordinating with Corporate Accounting or Accounts Payable to help address invoice or payment-related questions. Assist the Senior Accountant with invoicing activities and miscellaneous month-end duties, as assigned. Perform general accounting support functions, including assisting with data entry, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate financial records in accordance with company policies and accounting standards. Provide administrative and analytical support to the Accounting team. Assist with special projects, audits, reporting requests, and other routine accounting tasks as assigned.
