Wireless Network Engineer
Job Description: In this role, the Wireless Cellular/Radio Engineer supports enterprise private cellular initiatives from initial design through production deployment. Day to day, they partner with business-facing teams, architects, and network groups to analyze requirements and develop scalable cellular and radio solutions across campuses, manufacturing facilities, data centers, and remote sites. They lead and execute projects including proofs of concept, upgrades, expansions, and full deployments, coordinating vendors, tracking execution, and serving as the primary technical escalation point for project and operational issues. The engineer conducts and oversees site surveys, develops coverage and capacity plans, supports testing and validation efforts, and travels onsite as needed. Ongoing responsibilities include monitoring network health, supporting service tickets when required, documenting operational procedures, engaging manufacturer support to resolve issues quickly, and proactively identifying, resolving, and documenting root causes to ensure long-term stability and availability of the cellular infrastructure.Must Haves: 8–10 years of experience as a Wireless / Cellular / Radio Engineer Hands-on experience designing and deploying Private Cellular networks (Private 4G/5G, licensed spectrum and/or CBRS) Experience with DAS and signal boosting solutions Strong understanding of RF, LTE networks, and wireless technologies Strong enterprise networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, WLAN, firewalls)Plusses: Experience supporting manufacturing plants, campuses, data centers, or large facilities Experience leading Proof of Concepts through production deployments Comfort acting as a technical escalation point for vendors and operations Experience conducting site surveys, coverage planning, and validation testing Familiarity with Wireshark, iPerf, or similar performance and troubleshooting tools CCNA or higher certification Experience documenting operational guides and root-cause analysisCompensation:$35/hr to $47hr.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
