This is a 13-week contract position.Schedule
4x10 Hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 06:00 PM, with potential for 5x8 Hour shifts from 07:30 AM to 04:00 PM as needed. On-call required once during the week and one weekend every 4-6 weeks, including holidays.Job Description
The Cath Lab Technologist utilizes advanced equipment to perform endovascular procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician, focusing on diagnostic and treatment protocols for cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases. This role includes monitoring patients' hemodynamic status, documenting procedures, and assisting in various interventional procedures.ResponsibilitiesPerform cardiac catheterizations, including left and right heart catheterizations, and other diagnostic procedures.Assist in interventional cardiology and endovascular interventions, including stent placements and angioplasties.Maintain sterile fields and equipment setups during procedures.Monitor hemodynamic status and assist with emergency interventions as necessary.Document patient data and procedural details accurately.Participate in department meetings and ongoing education to ensure compliance with standards and competency assessments.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure1.5 to 2 years of experience in Diagnostic and Interventional Cardiac Cath lab settings.Valid ARRT certification and RT license for fluoro machine operation in West Virginia.ACLS and BCLS certifications required; ARRT CI preferred.A medical imaging license from the state of West Virginia is mandatory.Why ARMStaffing?
